Between us, we've spent over two decades working with betting markets
The older of the two of us has been in the game since the days of physical betting slips — when you could walk into a shop, place a bet without handing over your life history, and get change from a fiver. The other opened a first account at 18 to unlock £30 in free bets. Both a while ago now. Different paths, different lessons — but we’ve ended up in the same place, with twice the experience and a broader view because of it.
Over the years, we’ve seen how the sports betting landscape’s changed — how markets move, how prices are shaped, and how bookmakers react. Profitable accounts don’t last as long. Anything outside of recreational punting tends to get flagged. You notice these things when you’ve been around long enough.
It’s always been about sport and numbers. That’s where it started. One of us has a background in pure maths and statistics, the other in building systems and interpreting data sets. These specialities naturally found their way into our betting strategy. We started pulling apart markets, tracking odds movements, running our own models — mostly just to get better at what we were already doing. Because we enjoyed it.
We’d been doing this for ourselves for years when the idea came up: maybe what we’re building is actually useful — not just to us, but to others too. And why not? Maybe we just like a bet as much as the next person. Or maybe, after all this time, we’ve built something worth sharing.
We’re two betting men, taking a punt on ourselves. Worst case? We meet a few like-minded people along the way.
